percEncDec - file rename utility (freeware)
percEncDec is a simple application primarily designed to change characters encoded with percentage coding in file names, but current implementation allows user to specify custom character set, making this application simple rename utility.
Usage is really simple, specify file either by choosing entire directory or selecting them individually, and press decode / encode from menu.

Windows:
Just unpack the archive to location that You have write permission and run the program.
Linux:
Unpack archive into location that You have write permission (i.e. /home/username/percEncDec).
if You are running KDE as window manager, then application runs without need of any additional libraries.
On other systems install Qt4 libraries from repositories.
On Ubuntu/Debian distributions type
sudo apt-get install libqt4-xml libqtcore4 libqt4-gui
to install Qt4 libraries, or consult Your distribution manual/forums how to do that.

This program is free-ware but close source (at least at the moment).
I redistribute percEncDec with Qt libraries that are LGPL.
